It is not heavy at all. I have used Ego, I like this one better.

Crappie Masters net for spider rigging or power trolling jigs. EGO-2 Slider for pulling or pushing cranks. Here's a pic of one of the Crappie Masters nets fully extended to 160"

And the net head with small mesh so your weights won't fall through and tangle your lines. Attachment 148789
They make a rubber net head similar to the EGO-2 for this handle also.
