Awesome job. Those groceries made a tasty looking meal.

First post in awhile. Between football, Fall baseball and speckled trout fishing I haven't been terrorizing the Sac Au Lait lately. Decided to sneak out this morning for a few hours to pick up some fresh crappie for supper tonight. Ran to the Tchefuncte river to see what I could find. Fished several deep docks and downed trees with a black and chartreuse crappie magnet with a 1/16 oz orange jig head. Fish were holding in about 8-10ft of water. Caught 19 on the fish clicker. Only kept a few for supper tonight. The rest were released to swim another day. Got home around 1300 and put the filet knife to the slabs. Turned them into some golden crispies paired with a fresh pot of shrimp creole. Got the rig cleaned up and batteries charging debating on going explore somewhere again tomorrow morning.
Awesome job. Those groceries made a tasty looking meal.
All of it is spectacular

Fishervet. I believe I idled past you just north of the Tchefuncte Country Club. Wasn't sure if it was you though.
Great report and post. Thanks for the share

Correction: I believe that might have been Jig Rig. Had my members crossed. Sorry about that.
