Lake D'Arbonne Gathering, November 8-9, 2024

The Gathering this year was low on numbers but we still had a great time. The weather was horrible for fishing as the wind was gusting and we had a lot of rain. Also, the lake was on draw down and was about five feet low. Friday night we had Chicken & Sausage Gumbo with Crackers and all the Sweet Tea you could drink. Escout, Papaw Bud, and myself had plenty to eat. Saturday we had a big breakfast and then sat around and talked a lot, watched it rain, and dozed off every now and then. Saturday night we fried fish, taters, hushpuppies, cole slaw, and all the sweet tea you could drink. Jimmy Watt and his three boys came to the fish fry. We enjoyed food, fellowship, and fish stories. We had a total of seven in attendance, 20 watt and his 3 boys, escout, papaw bud, and maxwell328. Here is a list of our sponsors whom we appreciate very much.
