Quick trip ended up being pretty productive. I am a bit late posting. This is from 8/17-8/18
Fishing mostly hidden tops, and some open water targeting. Some nice slabs out the bunch. Water was 92-94 degrees and the Fish were typical finicky summer time fish, most were caught in 6-8 FOW. Very little action on hair jigs, but caught a good many on a plain lead head with a black and pink baby shad. When that turned off, switched over to a plain jig head and a shiner. It was too hot for me to fish all day, i would fish a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening and had to leave them biting it was just miserably hot even with an umbrella.
