Neat iPhone trick to record fishing spots

I was fishing an oxbow off the Ouachita River last week and the water was about 3 feet lower than normal. Lots of stumps were exposed. For safety, and for fishing purposes, I took pictures of some of the areas. I was thinking that this would be a nightmare to figure out where each picture was located at a later time. But when I looked at the pictures on my phone, I found if I scrolled the photo, it showed a map of where the photo was taken!! So I can log these places on my phone and arrange them by location. The examples above are from a trip to Uncle Bud’s at Larto, and the map that accompanies the photo.
