Late post Crockett Point 8/19

Just wanna let yall know I'm still around. Took a straight day job 2 yrs ago so I'm primarily a weekend warrior now.

Anyway went to a new to me lake Saturday just south of Delhi, Crockett point

Idled south from ramp about a quarter mile and dropped trolling motor and went to work.

Was catching fish at first but they were picky. I'd catch one and the next 2 would turn off the jig.

I changed colors about a dozen times before I settled on pink and chartreuse, they were smashing it.

By the time I figured this out sun was topping the trees and I started seeing fewer big fish.

Struggled on like this for a hr or so till I had enough and cranked up and ran back to where I started out.

Found the fish again and picked up another dozen keepers and called it a day at 11am.

Ended up keeping about 35 with a few pretty good fish. No 2's today but probably a few 1.75s.
