    Default 7/27/2023 Hot Times on Da Lacombe Bayou

    Caught a mixed bag of Sacalait, Blue Cats and Crokers on Bayou Lacombe. Some very g]big fish blew through the shad, probably reds, but we didn't hook any. Water temp 88F, water raising hard and the shad clouds were getting busted up by several species of fish. My grandson Austin has 2 weeks of summer left so we been on the water almost every day. Today was different as the salt water species mixed with the fresh water species of fish and we caught some of each.
