Thread: Old River for the 4th

Made a quick trip to Old River in Morganza this morning. Sacs were biting early but not much size to them. My 11 yo worked on the bream which ended up being the fish of the day. Stopped fishing a little after 10 with around 20 keepers including a couple big cats and some bull bream Old River is famous for. Been a while since we caught some this size. All fish were caught in 20-25 fow, bream and cats on crickets, sacs mostly on shiners and a few on green and chartreuse jigs.
