Bummer Gene, so sorry to hear. Getting old sucks. Recently my sodium level dropped, passed out, and fell down peeling my scalp back. Ann called an ambulance because of all the blood loss. EMT guy fell down when he slipped in the blood on the floor. Eighteen staples in head, MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds, etc. Not a drip IV, but two pumps injecting solution into the back of each hand. Five days in the hospital, and told them I'm ready to go home - I said they couldn't keep me there against my will. Had a hard time walking for a couple of days after.
After falling in a fire in my burning pit last year tripping on the brick fire ring, third degree burns resulted. Three surgeries later, back at it. Nice battle scars I have. Ann says I'm not as young as I used to be. I'm more careful these days. Ann shut me down when I was climbing a ladder with a running chain saw recently to cut tree branches. Only the good die young I say.

Thank all you guys for the supporting prayers it’s the only way out of this hell hole.
They brought me off of the breathing machine after 6 hours last night and said I looked so good I went to the small tube in my nose. They will try to wean me from that. I was given the OK to start soft foods and drinks. That’s the first step in going home.

Well they have come up with a diagnosis, not specific because there are several but it got them working in the right direction and I’m responding well. It call Myasthenia Gravis, an auto immune situation where my body is fighting itself. The good news is with proper diagnosis it can be treated. It may take future infusions but unless something goes wrong I should be able to live an almost normal life. THANK YOU JESUS AND THIS WONDERFUL PRAYER TEAM.
I’m writing this at 2 AM not having slept yet because I’m supposed to be sent home this morning. I’m just to excited to sleep. I was supposed to go through physical therapy and other trainings but because I have responded to treatment so well and have rebounded so fast that they think I can be home to get my strengths back. I lost 30 pounds but not a diet I would recommend.
Again, no way I can thank you enough other than asking that God bless y’all and join together in prayer for any member in need.
