After church yesterday decided not to nap the afternoon away even though it was cloudy, windy and drizzling. Not to mention that the temperature was falling a little. Hooked up at 3pm and went to the lake. Met a guy fishing off the ramp and he said he wasn't doing any good. I really didn't think that I would either but can't catch them on the couch. First tree caught 2 and lost 2. Eased down the bank and caught one more. Wind was howling. Got wedged in between a couple of trees and it was on, 13 in one spot. It was 5:30 by then and I picked up one or two more here and there. Then wind pushed the boat over a submerged stump and me not knowing, I hit the trolling motor and I felt the hit. Trolling motor started vibrating and I pulled it up to see that I had snapped off one of the propeller blades. So I'd had enough, left the lake with 18. Not a bad afternoon even though it cost me a trolling motor prop. Red/ chartreuse was the color 3.5 to 4 fow.
