Took my best friend Ray to Vernon today for my birthday, lol. Ray doesn’t have a boat and only fishes with me so I treated him for a slab fest. It’s his first time to Vernon, and he had a blast. Kept 20 total, threw back only a few dinks. The slabs are really starting to fatten up on shad. Can’t wait to get back out there again Vernon Lake 10/4/22. Caught on shiners and jigs.
