Did an early afternoon trip in the humble canal off bayou DA on Thursday. Great conditions but maybe a little high pressure. Water about 56d

2 of us fished about 3 hours, not a lot of bait, maybe a couple bites. Fella in there had been around all day and caught 4 near the banks, mostly early before we got there. Another fella we talked to skunked like us. Can’t wait for them to return though, there’s a bunch of deadfall now that will make for some solid habitat.

We’ll let the weather blow this weekend and next week before going out to try again, maybe push further into the Lac
