    Cold front came through, me & Fishervet decided to wait ….hit water at 11
    Tried deep for 20 minutes, nothing……picked up da slip cork and went shallow, fish on

    One of our better get togethers in the last couple of years as far as weather and water conditions, and every one caught fish. Friday was a little breezy but the guys were able to get back in the canals and get the job done coming back to camp to a hot fire and a big pot of chicken n sausage gumbo. Saturday mornings start was a little chilly but the fish cooperated again. We returned again to another hot fire and a seafood feast, we had fried Sac A Lait, Sac A Lait Bouillettes and fried Shrimp. Forgot to mention the deserts of homemade chocolate chip cookies, peach cobbler and cinnamon rolls. The comradery was the best and if you went home hungry it was your falt. Thanks guys I had a great time, let's do it again.
