So sorry to hear this. The family will be in my prayers. For those that don't know, Rick wanted to be cremated and Mrs. Bonnie wants to bring his ashes to Darbonne this year and have a memorial service for him at the gathering.

I talked to Rick and Bonnie about 2 weeks ago. He was well aware of his condition and was on hospice but in good spirits. It was sad knowing it would be the last time I'd talk to him. He was such a great one and so is Bonnie. I know we will miss him but nothing like Bonnie will. I pray that she makes it through the rough period of her life and comes out all smiles knowing that Rick did all he could for her and that he will now be sitting with the angels at Jesus' throne. God Bless him and keep him, and prayers of strength for Bonnie and family.

My dear friends I just spoke to Bonnie. She taking it hard as you would imagine but is holding up fine. There will be a memorial service on the 12th and she is asking for pictures of Rick, Herself, and our CDC fishing family. They are putting together a collage of pictures running at the service. She asked that you text them to her as soon as possible to (318) 376-0192.

I've been dreading seeing this post, but expecting it. So very sorry for Bonnie and Ian.

I looked through my phone for some pictures, but only have a few from one of the more recent gatherings I made. Rick was in one of them, but at the back of the room, so it might not be that great of a picture. I bet we could search the threads for Darbonne Gatherings and look through the pictures that members shared in the past years, and we may find better options there that we can send to her.

I managed to find these 2 and sent to her.
