    Default Bayou Black 8/8/31

Made the 80 mile trip south east to Bayou Black. Water was going into the cuts and muddy where I caught fish the previous weekend. Bounced around a few spots until I found a stretch of cleaner moving water with hydrilla mats. Ended up keeping 12 and 2 catfish.

I usually don't tell what color Garland jig i use but i'll drop a pic for those who actually read my posts. It's been my go to bait for the past few years. Also, for those who dont know... I dry my nibblets in the sun for 3 hours. They get "crunchy" and hold better on the hook. Can catch 3-4 fish before they fall off.Name: 8.8.jpg

I'll have to try the tip on the nibblets. Nice looking ACC rod.
