Made landing on Cross Bayou/Horseshoe lake in Monterey, La about 3:30 yesterday. Wind was howling and Horseshoe was rolling. Went across anyway and found 4 or 5 in the grass 1' deep. Wind was to much. Went into Cross Bayou and fished cypress trees in 2 down and nothing. Bout 45 minutes before we left and the skeeters started I fished grass/reeds in a foot or less and found them there. It was like they waited til last light to flood the bank. Ended up with 16 crappie and 2 goggleye. Picture is just of the better ones.Name: IMG_20210315_212302872.jpg
