Howdy,

I cannot afford a boat in the near future and want to begin my Crappie fishing career in NW Louisiana (Shreveport area). I have seen photos of a wooden fishing bridge over Black Bayou lake near Hosston. Assuming it's open to the public, what bait and line weight should I use? For that matter, where else would you suggest I look for Crappie without a boat in the Shreveport area?
