The only braid I have found that touches either Nanofil or Gliss is Suffix Nano Braid. I am also liking Fire Line is 4lb test. Nanofil is still the best thing ever for ultra light spinning, and it's not close.

I've used braid exclusively for about 15 years. I have 20# braid on almost every reel. Unless I'm pulling cranks or dipping heavy structure i use a leader, monofilament most of the time or fluorocarbon in clear water. I pre-tie the leaders and store them on a Tackle Buddy. I use a Fast Snap on my braid and a swivel on the leader. When I break off or want to change baits it can be done quickly. There is no perfect line for all conditions but this system works best for me. As I have Matured my fingers don't work as well as they used to, especially in cold weather, and it takes too long to re-rig on the water.

Tying braid knots on the water when it is cold is a pain! Very strong, small diameter, very sensitive. Go with a bigger test than you need just for the ease of tying lures on, I use 20lb or bigger.
Everything said above is true.
I like tiny braid for the ease of casting. I never go over 8, and prefer 4/6.
I really want to thank all of you for your answers. It’s help me a lot.

For most of my deep water fishing i use gravity braid . It is a sinking braid and really like it. Might want to try it.
I love braided line for single pole jig fishing. The sensitivity is unbelievable. Compared to mono, and as stated above, you can really get good hook sets with the braided line

I love braid for straight vertical jigging only! I can’t stand it casting! But the sensitivity of it on a jig pole is second to none!
