The weather man kept me from fishing on Tuesday and Wednesday but both days were fishable in the morning so I went rain or shine Thursday morning. The fish were a foot higher in the water column today maby from the rain putting more oxygen in the water or the cloud cover, I don’t know but they were thick and didn’t want to bite my cranks that well. No bright colors every thing came off dark or black baits. My custom LSU bait caught 4 of the 7 fish. I got a call from Charlie about 1015 and she reported a line of showers moving in my direction knowing I had to run always to get to the truck, we cut the trip short.
