Going to drown some shiners in Lake Verret tomorrow morning. It’ll be my first trip going after sac-a-lait instead of catfish and bream there. We’ve had some decent trips this year but haven’t been able to put the catfish rod down. I’ll have some crickets and worms just in case it doesn’t work out. Planning to work lay downs along the east bank early. Any suggestions?

Here’s some pics from our last few trips. Never took the time to give a report. Bream in the canals, catfish along the lake. Hopefully the sacs will be as easy to find.
