I have fished for crappie in Tennessee and Washington since I was young. The way I knew they were biting was when the dogwood trees would bloom. We would go out trolling and catch lots. That is they only way I fished. Seems that doesn’t work here. So can you give me some advice,articles so I can teach myself how to target crappie here. I only live in New Orleans from Nov-May each year. I go to my other home in Washington during the summer. Also, if you ever want a fishing buddy I would be happy to tag along and pay my part in the expenses of the boat. So far I have been out to the river twice. Caught on sunfish and something bit one of my plastics in half. Not sure where to fish at what water temperature. Thank you and sorry so long of a post.
