    Default Ole wa****aw river 12/7

I wanted to check on my river slough fish one last time this year.

My first stop had a good bit of current pulling out. I fished it about an hour and moved on to plan B.

Made my next stop a little after 8 and realized after the long boat ride I wasn't wearing enough clothes, I got COLD.

I ended up keeping a dozen of the better fish, all over 10". I threw back more than i kept.

Caught most of these in tops 1 to 3' deep in 5 or 6' fow. I'm amazed at how shallow these fish will stay even with surface temps around 51 degrees.

Don't let this table shot deceive you. These were all decent fish just the big white makes them all look small.

She was an absolute Mule, biggest fish I've caught in several years. You could have put her in a tank and rode her around like they do the killer whales at sea world. Ole wa****aw river 12/7
