I woke up early as usual @ 4 this time and went outside to check the weather, noticed a good breeze from the south. To much for squirrel hunting then hooked up the boat and on my way to get shiners and on my way to Youngblood’s. Spot got to run behind the 4wheelers in the parking lot waiting on daylight than it was off to the katching . Picked up a few at the first stop and made a move towards the lake and ran into Tony the guide from Larto Landing and new I was in the right spot. We started catching a few then I noticed the number of shiners in the miner bucket was running low, didn’t seam like I used that many for the amount of fish in the box. Ran out at 8 30 and only had @ 12 fish, I paid for 50 and must have got shorted on the count. Any way had to go to plan B, I’ve always wanted to try long lining jigs so here was my chance. Rerigged and started pulling 4 jigs at .8 mph, bam first fish surprised me. This is just as much fun as pulling cranks, we finished up with 28. Name: IMG_0197.JPG
