Thanks my friends for all the support and prayers. Things went well but now to heal. She will be in a cast for 4 or 5 weeks and then start therapy. I'm just hopinig and praying that all go well. She feeling great right now but soon the pain block will wear off and then the fun begins. No strong narcotics, only mild pain relievers so I'm praying the pain isn't to great but from what the Dr. told me about the repairs he did, I figure she will be hurting something fierce.

Dear Lord help relieve Mrs Linda's pain to where it is not too bad, be with Gene as he cares for her, in Jesus name.

Praying. Man Linda sure has had a rough time. I know with prayers she will heal up and be out fishing you again soon.

Praying for a complete recovery and least possible pain.

Glad to hear the surgery went well. Give our girl best wishes and I hope she is not in much pain.

Morning update.
Not a bad night although we didn’t sleep much. Linda was just uncomfortable with the cast and a little wobbly on her feet still. This morning her head is clear and she is in no pain. I hope it stays that way. The Dr didn’t have to use any stitches in her hand. All he did was to cauterize the edges of the torn ligament and trim some edges. He said healing should be fast. Time will tell.
