    Default Bayou Bonfouca


    Has anyone on the site fished this bayou. It’s located around Slidell, La and dumps into the Lake Pont.
    Maybe Adam or JR would know something. Rented a house off one of the canals and going to do a little fishing.

    Hey BB,
    I typically don't go east of the Tfunky. Spoiled I guess.

    I've heard that the red fish are on. Bayou Adventures I'm sure would share where,when, and how. U could also look at Northshorefishingreport. Com maybe make a post there.

    Remember the Bonnet Carrie spillway is still open.

    Grew up bass fishing off the bank all around Palm Lake, which is basically a runoff of Bayou Bonfouca.
    Where’s the house located?

    Yea I know, I hope it don’t effect the freshwater fishing in the bayou.

    Adam - the House is on Palm Lake. Going have grandkids bream fishing, jug lines, etc. it’s all good. Any suggestions?

    Man it’s been years....
    I used to park by the old vocational school and just chunk plastics and walk the whole thing. Caught my first 7 lb bass outta there at 14. I’m not really much help bc I was all about bass. Are y’all able to take a boat?
    There’s a point I’ve been given the info to by a homeowner that’s supposed to hold sacs. Lemme see if I can google earth it and pin it from what I remember.
