Not crappie but some good eating. Made a trip to Lake Verret this morning with my dad and my lil fishing buddy. Didn’t get started til around 8 but by 11:30 we had 34 catfish and 3 bream. Caught them all in one spot mostly by the outer trees. Got home and took my 5 year old to a local pond since he was too tired to go early. Caught a handful of small bream. First batch just hit the grease. Couldn’t have asked for a better Father’s Day.
