    1st time on the forum. Great info. Some friends and I are going for a guys trip next week to a pals camp there. Any reports? How high is the water? How fast does it fall? Thanks

    Welcome to the forum from Brouillette, my last trip there was in February. Every thing around the Black and Red River is high at this time good luck and let is know how you do.

    Black is 5 foot high, generally falls very slow. Expecting more rain today. May want to try Lake St John outside Ferriday. About 20 miles from black.

    It just finished raining here 2 1/4" that makes about 13" in the last 3 weeks everything is gonna be high.

    Well if that rain was around Black you can add two foot of water to the lake level!
