40w and I caught a mess of fishes yesterday on Bartholomew lake. After a little trial and error we finally settled on pitching 1/32 hand ties (gold and chartreuse) on trees anywhere from 3 ft of water to 9ft water.

They seemed to like the slow fall and finesse of the 32nd better than a 16th. Even the bream couldn't stand to see that small jig come swimming by, they had to have it. By far the most bream I can remember catching on jigs in one day.

Lost several fish due to the smaller hook including about a 5# largemouth. Bartholomew 3/29Name: 20190329_074618.jpeg
