Whitebass (Sand bass) Sabine River
I'm wanting to take my teenage son fishing tomorrow (March 15, 2019). Does anyone have a fishing report on Whitebass on Sabine River near Logansport, Louisiana and where could I launch my boat.
Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

Don't have a fishing report. There is a launch on the Texas side at Logansport. Public, free. Texas has zebra mussel rules about drain plugs, so check that. Also one on Louisiana side just north of Logansport up Marshall Rd then Garrett Park road, I think. Check that one on Google Earth to make sure. It's been a while since I launched there. There are a few on up the river in Texas, but it has been a long time since I've been there.(When I got my 797 Humminbird).

Just go up river from
Logansport and fish all the sandbar slack water just out of the current.
They will hit most anything. Small rattletraps are good .
