Afternoon on Bayou Boeuf

Wiggled away from work a lunch, boat hit the water sometime around 1:45.
Headed down towards lake Boeuf but water looked good in the bayou at the first fork, dropped trolling motor and started fishing.

The bream were quite active today with plenty throwbacks, caught a half dozen sac a lait and kept five with a bass and catfish in the mix. Seemed to prefer a jig under a cork fishing in less than 18” of water.
