Extended my weekend by a day and took my father fishing. He doesn’t like to be on the boat all day so we made run at some catfish on the Lac before the wind picked up. Launched out of Vacherie armed with night crawlers 2’ft under a cork fishing the outer most trees produced more than enough fish and put a smile on my fathers face.
Ended at lunch with 11 good sized catfish and I was able to trick one crappie into coming in the boat....he was a lost wanderer.
Water in Lac still low and bit dirty.
