Got a text from buddy saying he had some free time today after he took his girls to church.
Launched out of Vacherie to find muddy water in most places. Fished from 11:30-4
Didn’t get many strikes and all all fish caught in less than 3’ of water.

Notice the camps in the background PPG, spent sometime poking around in there today.
Cleaner water and more fish move in those canals than I believe....especially under old boat ramps.

I see they have some color to them. The bite should pick up. Talked to someone a while ago he said fishing not good in he Lac. I think you'll do better in the river.

The backs of canals were fairly clean but the lake itself stirred up pretty good.
