Black Lake 12/6/18 (not bad for a work day)

The weather man's calling for 3-5" of rain this weekend so I sweet talked the boss into letting me take off early today. I called my dad (another bass fisherman PPG) and asked him if he wanted to go, he laughed and said he's ready now! (I can't wait till I'm retired!!) He drove up from Alexandria and meet me at the boat ramp around 11am. By 3pm we only had 5 in the livewell and I was starting to get worried we might not get on em. Everybody we talked to said they hadn't caught hardly anything but a few small ones. We went and tried an area I had dropped some cane tops a couple of years ago and it was on! Fished till 5pm and ended up with 57 averaging around 11" with the biggest 2 right at 14". Not bad for a work day... haha
