I've seen plenty of people on fishbrain say that the mercury content is too high. I don't know for sure if that's true tho.

Although I did see an advisory for the LSU Lakes issued in 1987, I haven't seen one in recent years. Here's a link to the most recent advisory from LaDWF.

Probable cause is -----> high crimsom tide comming in Saturday -- won't be a good fishing day

The water is already beginning to boil! Gots that ragin' Cajun blood going, and then the Crimson Tide should be the size of a tsunami slowly arriving on Friday.

SEC FOOTBALL this weekend should be killer!

It's funny you should bring that up, I seen a picture of our beloved LSU mascot "Mike the Tiger" taking a dump in that lake and the caption under the picture read "THE MAKING OF THE CRIMSON TIDE"

There's folks that do. The problem with the mercury is not to eat the much to often IMO
