Thread: Still chasing those Cats shallow

Launched by the spillway again at 6;30 -- fished by the Boathouse I caught the most at last week and never moved from that spot. The bite was good till 9 and slowed some. At 10;30 the boat was on the Trailer. Today none were lost at the Boat. 12 good Cats went in the cooler and 4 bream... Three little throw backs -- but 3 fun fish over 5 pounds wrapped the pilings and got off. the biggest one broke the 12 lb test line where the sinker was crimped. The flathead was a surprise and the biggest. What Makes this place good is it has a hard Bottom not covered in muck --- No females with eggs (Please ignore the date on the photos!)
