    Default Darbonne Hydrographic Maps

This is probably useless but I will give it a shot. Anyone have a map showing anything close to showing contours in Darbonne Lake. I have contacted USGS, Lake Commission, and DOT. USGS said they never made a hydrographic survey. Lake Commission pointed me to DOT. DOT said he would try to find an old "pre-flooded" map. No dice. Looks like I may be out of luck...

I got one from LWFD in the 70's when I was fishing Bass Tournaments. I think I canned all of the old maps , but i will look tonight when I get home.

Thanks Pej. I really appreciate you looking into that. That would be really cool. Maybe I could get it scanned if you don't have a scanner. Let me know. I'm sure some of the contour has changed slightly but it is better than nothing. Thank you john. I can get regular maps with no prob. I wonder why USGS never hydrographed that lake?

Thanks brick. I don't think I would really use it but I do appreciate your input. I guess as far as historical people it would be great.

    Default D'Arbonne Map

A couple of years ago someone in the Monroe area had an album of areial photos taken when the lake was drawn down several feet. They gave a lot of detail if you don't know anything about the lake........not sure if they are still available, but you might check at Honey Hole or Toledo Tackle to see if they know who the vendor was.........I do remember they were on the "pricey" side.
