Kens landing on little D'Arbonne

The Highway dept has repaved Hwy 151 past Kens Landing Road today. I Taunted the fellows standing by my truck waiting to get past the Paving machine -- a couple was ready to go with me. I lost the first one that bit then caught a goo 3 1/2 pounds of fun. The River bottom is loaded with sunken limbs . I only managed two good cats in the deeper holes with 20 feet of water. the water is muddy after yesterdays thunderstorm... The whole time I was on the water I never saw a school of shad and never marked one fish -- or catch a bream. Several of my Bites the fish swam straight up and couldn't hook them.. Catfish Filets and fries for supper
