From the reports I've read it's been on for a few weeks at Henderson. Can't help you with water levels. But I'm thinkin Old River Morganza myself.

Just wondering what are the "Water needs to be at this for the fish to start biting" at Henderson? I know at Bayou Sorrel if its 5ft and dropping its ON with the fish. What about lake des allemands? I'm looking to go somewhere Sunday. Went to bayou sorrel on Thursday and struck out. The water is just WAY to high...now its dropping fast but its still 2-3 weeks away IMO.

Im going to henderson in the morning. I'll let you know what i hear and see.
As far as old river, my brother in law has a camp there and I asked tonight about fishing. He said it was still too high.

Well after a few hours at henderson I had 5 sacs and one bream. I caught 4 small bass and one more bream that I threw back. I gave the fish to two guys fishing near me whem I left. I had more importand things to do at home that clean fish.
The sacs were spaced out a good bit. I actually caught one on the I10 bridge piling. The rest were in button woods about 5-7 foot deep. Attachment 303455
