    Default Cocodrie lake 8/22/17

Ended up with 11, but only 6 keepers. Had a little motor trouble. Went thru some thick Salvinia to get to a spot. When I cranked the motor to leave at 10:39, I noticed the motor wasn't spitting out water. So I shut it down and trolled about 2 miles back to the landing.

When I got back home, hooked up my water hose to the motor and blew the clog out. Good thing I always check the motor when I crank it.

Blue and white jig under a cork did best.

Was gonna add the suggestion, but Marty beat me to it. Sometimes when you can get back in clean water, reverse it hard a couple times and see if it clears. Also just cause the pee hole was not spraying it could still be pumping. Carry a piece of weed eater string to back in the pee hole also to clear it. Anyway, that is all.

yep, that's where I was. and nobody around me to pull me back. I did try that reverse maneuver , but it still wouldn't work. I'm gonna bring some weedeater string like "D" suggested.
