Default Cypress bayou res. And Black bayou res.

My parents are looking at houses around these two and I was wandering if anybody fishes them? I'm from coushatta and I've never touched that water before... y'all let me know... if they buy up that way I might have to wet a hook there

Excellent fishing on both. Cypress gets a little busy with pleasure and ski boats in the summer, but it's not terrible. There are several of us that fish them often. They produce some nice fish. I'm not as familiar with Black Bayou as much as some of the others, but Cypress is my preferred go-to lake these days. It's close, clean, and I can start fishing as soon as I leave the docks. You can't go wrong on either lake. Let us know what pans out!
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.

I agree with Rob ...excellent choice its great for spider rigging and trolling . It's has plenty of docks if that's your thing. They both have good bass fishing also

Yep, one of my 3 choices when I fish. Definitely plan on fishing if they do.
