4)PPG did get a Shoe Pic in da boat.

    5) stayed dry

    6) Yes, I got us lost.

    7) Kept a half dozen or so

    8) Conditions were perfect

    9) Nice to fish out of a big boat.

Well Adam it's like this. JR schooled me well today. In fact he did so good that he only allowed me catch a catfish and a shoepic. The best I could do was hope for winning the trifecta by catching a goo, but alas, that didn't happen either. But........................... I did learn of some nice fishing spots that I can take Linda to once the weather cools. It's way too hot now.

Today we were surrounded by rain for most of the day which made it nice to fish. We had very little wind most of the time which made for some easy dipping in tree tops and lilies. The fish just weren't hungry or were in other places. I did notice that most of those I cleaned had little in their stomach. Since I don't have a better answer, I'll blame it on the moon. The rain finally parted over the route home so we left. It was a fun day no matter what I caught. Also to watch the patience of a pro is always worth a trip. The only problem is, I was doing the same thing with the same baits, well almost. In fact JR was taking me to his secret fishing spot, problem was it was so secret not even he could find it. Martin if you read this, the secret spot was around that point where it was storming. I checked out google maps and found it.

Awesome. Y'all remind so much of each other when I read yalls stories and y'all are both relatively close to me where I feel at home.
I'd feel happy fishing out of any boat that moves, Mr M.
Conditions? HA! That's become a joke between me and myself at work everyday.
Those secret spots are few n far btween, Mr Gene. Hope Mrs Linda enjoys em....gotta share em with family.
I've still got a few burned in my brain from my only trip with Mr M.
Thanks to both of y'all for the reply. When I got hint of yalls trip the other night, I got giddy like I do the night bf I get to go fish. Thought about y'all many times today.
Them fish look nice n wore out like they met their match! I'm sure the ones not willing to tangle with y'all weren't caught by no others either.
    Thx for sharing the trip!
