I finely got in everything I needed to start pulling cranks, thanks to the rain delay the last couple of weeks. I started marking fish right from the boat launch at 5' 6' and 7', Taking my time I got all my rods set with Arkie 350, looking at the chart the two outside poles dropped back wiht 21' of line and the inside poles set back 14'. And off I go on my maden voyage for pulling crank baits got my speed down to 1.5 mph. Sense I'm using my outboard motor I can stand up and face backwards to keep an eye on the lines and notice something isn't right with the two poles on the starboard side, got my first TANGLE, 5 minutes later I'm back trolling again. I caught fish on each pole so no one color was catching better than the other then the old brain starts to thinking if I get the baits back further from the boat away from the prop wash and exaust maby I would do better. I put on the smaller Arkie 220 and dropped them back 47'and 60' and it was GAME ON, kept making long slow passes close by the launch and even had a tripple hook up. That was fun except I probably looked a circus clown moving around in the boat trying to reel in fish, steer the boat, get the bait out the fishes throat, too many things happening at the same time. Ended the morning with 25, the guys with the wake boards and jet skiers started showing up. There was 2 young fellows I had seen fishing from the dock all morning and I shared my catch with them so there is only 13 fish in the pictures.Name: WP_20170612_002.jpg
