Me and my father went to the Bayou yesterday, launching out of Lake Drain. It's good to be on the water anytime and we haven't fished together in the better part of a year, so that made up for the poor day of fishing! The Bayou has fell a lot recently and you can fish the main Bayou, current isn't too bad. Several folks were fishing yesterday, didn't see any action to speak of and the folks we talked to said they weren't doing much of anything. We did end up with a total of 11 fish, 1 bass, 1 catfish, 3 nice bream and 6 perch. We did the best on Francis Creek, catching the bass, catfish and 4 of the perch and I believe 2 bream there. Worst "fishing day" me and my father have ever had on the Bayou together, but still a great day hanging out together! No pics taken of that poor catch lol!
