Default 5/6/17 Spring Bayou Panfish Tournament

I was able to pre fish for this tournament on Thursday morning before the 7" of rain and tornadic winds blew through here later that night catching about 25 blue gill and chicapin. It was going to be a tough day for fishing with the water up about a foot and a half but myself and my friends son made the blast off at first light along with 14 other boats. We ran to the 3 trees where I cought them in practice and nothing not a bight, started bouncing around from tree to tree keeping and culling fish till we had our 10 bigest fish for the weight in. Luke and myself barley made it back to the scales on time, had to tow the Game Warden back in. Ended up finishing in second place with a total weight of #4. 6oz. First place was one with 8 Sac A Lait weighing #6. We ended up splitting our $150.00 prize.Name: V__4075.jpg

Great job Chip! On both bringing a young man fishing and towing a stranded boat back in and also on the second place win! I say you had a great day overall.

Now if I can convert him in to a jig pole fishermen and get him off the green trout he would be a good fishing partner. As far as the tow job the warden stopped to check us and explained to him we were fishing in the tournament he went to start his motor and the pos. battery cable was smoking and his engine would not start I couldn't leave him there, hopefully we made some brownie points .
