Default Brush piling and some Rippin and Dippin on the Bonne Idee

Hit the Bonne idee this morning to sink some brush sets I made and cut some tops off the bank and drag out to the middle. My brush sets consisted of crepe mrytle clipping cemented into cynder blocks and let me tell you those dudes are a pain to put out by yourself. They're heavy, take up a lot of room in the boat and it's hard to control boat by yourself and drop it where you want it.

After breaking my ultralite casting rod putting the first one out the next two went without as much of a fight.

Managed to cut four tops and get them put in place, that's a serious chore to do by yourself as well. Not sure how the Maxwells make it sound so easy. Maybe I'm just biting off more than I can chew at one time....

After that was all squared away I thought I'd try out some marabou jigs I tied up. Never really fished boo before so I was eager to try it.

Found fish exactly where they were supposed to be, on tree tops 2 to 4 ft deep. Mostly right on the ends. Caught about 20 fish but didn't keep any today, got plenty in the freezer still. Patted them all on the butt, thanked them and returned them to the water till next time.
