Default We caught our supper this afternoon.

Linda and I decided to sleep it this morning and fish this afternoon. I had a nice surprise on our way out as I stopped for gas. A gentleman pull up next to me while I was pumping and asked me if I had been sac-au-lat fishing. I told him no that I was on my way to go catch some. He then asked me if I was PawPaw "gene". I told him yes but how did he know. He said he recognized me from pictures on line as he is a member from Metairie but works in Houma 1 day a week. His handle is Mr. Breezy. I recall having conversation with him. He said he was having a lot of trouble with pictures and hadn't been posting. He also said that we were a great group of people and loved the way we shared we each other. He also said that he would be posting again.

So after that pleasant meeting we were off. The boat ride was nice but once we stopped it was hot for a while but clouds came and went and a breeze kicked up. That made it very nice. It was slow going for a while but then one top yielded 2 sacs for Linda. I little latter I picked up a nice bass and had one come off. We moved on down the canal and found another top the gave up 3 sac to me. Evening was coming on and I figured the bite would get better as it got later but Linda had enough. So home we went. I had some chores to do anyway before dark. We caught them all on a white tube jig, not sure what brand but it works nicely in the water. The only problem is that it is a hollow tube and it doesn't take many bites to destroy it.

At the landing as I went get the truck, I saw a gent working on his trailer. I asked him if he needed something or some help and he told me that he was just upgrading his bunks. I little chit-chat later I found out that he was one of Bobfish11's buddies the "Deuce". We had met before on the water but I didn't recognize him. He let me know that Bob was at the Point again and doing well. I hope he reports later.

I think you're right "D". 12 fillets and we decided to wait to share them tomorrow with friends.

Mo Slab, I've used the superglue trick often but my problem with it is that it get hard in the tubes or evaporates. What's the glue with a brush you talk about.
    Thanks,
