    Default Lake Bruin 3/21

Finally got back to Bruin after recovering from my recent surgery, and found a bunch of dang giant carp rolling in the area I wanted to fish, and muddying up everything, which I figured was the end of catching Crappie there. So, we pushed around to the edge of the line where it was changing and gave it our best shot. Not much happened at daylight, but about 8:30 we finally managed to get a few hits on shiners, and ended up with 15 good sized blacks by noon. It was slow, but such a beautiful day, and my partner keeps me laughing, so great therapy! They were in two feet of water and we were about a foot under the bobber.
Think I may just leave em alone there now, and move on to greener pastures, chalking this season up to what should have been.
Not the best pic, but they will definitely work in the grease!Name: bruin2017.jpg

Think I'm going to take this morning, and give that livewell a good scrubbing. It's starting to look a little funky....

Congratulations on a great catch. Very few reports from Bruin. Thanks for reporting.
