Juicy and I fished the Crappie Fishermen United of Louisiana Tournament at Poverty Point Reservoir Saturday. Lots of people show up with a lot of new teams. We fished the South End in deep water. We used Shiners and Jigs with most of our fish caught on shiners. We came in 6th out 18 Teams that fished. Our total 7 fish weight was 10.20#'s with one coming in at 2.57# which was good enough to win the Big Fish. Maddie (Juicy's daughter) sent us a care package of "Fishermen's Protein Bullets" with a little note of encouragement. Lots of good fish were caught by all. Our next Tournament is on Caney Lake on April 15 at Hooks Marina. Fishing starts at 7 A.M. and goes till 1 P.M., $40.00 per boat. See ya there!!!
