"G" Gone but not forgotten!!
Haven't heard anything about D'Arbonne Bayou but we had about 2" rain the other day so it might be a bit muddy with a current.
A real white perch pro/friend of mine wore them out about 2-3 wks ago behind the spillway. I'm talking limits. I would check the current level as compared to pool stage (80 ft). Darbonne collects massive amounts of watershed so it is probably on the high side now. The muddier water comes from "Lil Darbonne Bayou" and mixes with the main channel at Forks Ferry . I really like that area; especially north of Forks Ferry following the channel that makes a loop to the north and west. I would also love to check out the flats at Stowe Creek and Cleo Foster. Not sure what the water temp is there but it has to be getting close especially with the full moon coming soon. I would check out the hole behind the spillway as soon as the lake settles and there is a small flow coming over the spillway. Should be able to catch a fry or two or three. Got to go to know. Good Luck, SLIP
