    Default Grand Bayou 3-3-2017

Day started out rough. Wind was horrible but thanks to my Motorguide Xi5 I was able to keep fishing. Fished shallow all morning and nothing. Not a single bite until 1430. I left the fish biting at 1700 with 18 keepers and caught 23 total. Cold front pushed the fish back deep to 17' of water. I caught multiple black males deep today. Females were squirting eggs out pulling them in the boat. Ended up salvaging the day with a decent mess. Sometimes you just have to hang with em until then get ready to eat! #TeamOveralls

Very nice! I wonder why some of those have darker meat that the others? White vs Black crappie?

The darker meat were jet black males.

I fish 7 days a week; some days for fish, everyday for men.

I was pulling out about the time you got on 'em. The only fish I had on was a catfish around 9:00. I may go back in a day or two.
